Tomorrow literally. Ballroom dance for two hours...

I have new dresses... I'll try to describe them...

A red tshirt dress with a vampire smiley. No swirley skirt but at some point i am making a shrt poofy skirt to go over it.

A black tshirt dress with Neil Gaiman's Death on it. Ditto swirly issue.

The navy blue one posted.

A brown dress that is from a skirt. I need a pic to describe it. It is tiered brown floral and brown plaid.

I might have the black dress done by then. Iit will be done with purple for the neckline and waist.

Then i have my red silk that now fits perfectly. And the batik halter dress.

I think the death tshirt dress if i can add a flowy skirt. But i like the option of form fitting too...

See? Girl issue.

STOP LAUGHING AUNTIE!!

His phone died. And no lame sorry sorry crap. Just "geez money monday i have your info to send it" so i approve.

THUNDER!!! Rain?!?

I made a decision. Adding a full circle to Death in the same red fabric as the straps. So no longer slinky and i will have a chunk of black jersey. It looks incredible!!!!

I know! Auntie will get pics soon. I wasted 90 minutes fighting with my machine cuz the thread wouldnt catch... rethreaded, new needles, hand sewing hem in annoyance, trying machine again cuz a full circle is a verra long hem... turned out i needed the jeans needle. Issue resolved. Tears dried. Still need to remove bad stitches and resew but it will go fast. Never got to quite a quarter of the way 'round. 35" radius (hips and outseam) = 219" of hem lol!

I still don't know which side of the fabric is right, but i wanted the smoother inside and the soft outside. Less catching on my fuzz and i can pet it all night to destim :)

:D It is!!!!

Especially at a dance where there are so many people!!! Like 10-15!!!! At the Christmas party, there were 30 or so. :th

So the dress I posted up there *points* will be 4 yards of 2 coloured fabrics, or 8 yards and I dye half :) Trying to decide - but it doesn't matter til money is very caught up cuz even at fairly cheap fabric, 8 yards gets pricey. The linen-cotton mix is 5/yard... I might find something on sale at Joann's though. I'll look next time I have a couple really good coupons.

I really like seeing your sewing projects!! I am afraid I would stitch my finger to the fabric, so no fast moving needles for me....
