LOL! I like combat boots and latin dance shoes. Or barefoot. I love my feet. I have great feet. Ballet feet. *nod nod*

So I was feeling wimpy for walking to the gym, working out for 30 minutes (mostly yoga and ballet stretches), and walking home, and being pooped. So I went to google maps. Gym isn't 1 mile away. It's 2. Well, 1.9.

I'm getting deeper into this pose :

My foot is still at my crotch though. I'm not nearing the nice right angle on my leg yet :p

So that's my day.

Tomorrow I'm paying utilities and mailing my niece a smudge stick before work. I think even if all I do every day after work is walk to the gym, stretch a bit, and walk right back home, I'll be doing good. And start really adding in massive core and then I'll start bringing my dance shoes and practicing every day. Wood floor. I can't practice dance at home in my shoes, you see.... That's most of the point of having a gym. It IS nice to do my yoga and ballet stretches without the aid of cats, but mostly it's the dance room.

:D Well, since I'm trying to loosen my hips and lower back, I'm doing a lot of the more intermediate poses. My lower back is always achy, but it's actually LESS sore when I work out, unless I seriously over do it.

I still can't touch my toes. LOL. It's all where you're at, right?

It's easy to touch your toes. Here's how to do it. (You do need to be in your bare feet so you're actually touching toes and not shoes or socks.)

1. Sit in a chair.

2. Pick up foot, and bend knee so the ankle is on top of the opposite knee.

3. Reach out your hand, and touch your toes.

There, isn't that easy? :D
