No one lies without fear. I'd guess the lying little sh*t is scared of having to do anything and being responsible.

Unless they're just lying to f*ck with you :D

Fear, playing with you, or completely lost to reality.

However, its the fact that they just allowed him to lie about anything and everything that drives me insane. Worse even is the fact that he knows he is doing it, and flies off the handle if you confront him about it :hit
LOL If he lies really BADLY, could still be aspie. Especially if his family taught him that social skill to get out of doing things. We can be taught to sorta lie a bit. We do it badly and by rote. LOL.

But FF, I do concur. Spectrum are honest. It's one of the social marks against us. If you cannot lie well by toddlerhood you are f*cked for life. I read an article about it.

Auntie can tell you how good Max and I are at lying hhahahahaha.

We had her thinking she had prostate cancer once.

That's frakkin awesome.

My mom lies all the time. She gets weirdly high pitched when she does. So does my friend's wife. It's annoying. If my mom gets all squee about something and gushes, she hates it.
Yes, it is horribly bad lieing. SO monstrous that everyone is left wondering how in the world to deal with the conversation.

I have taken to snapping at him and telling him to stop lying.
DH also does this, and thankfully the SILs are joining in.

Here is a good one for you.
So he worked in the Reserves as a kitchen assistant, and sometimes worked in base hospitals.

He had the gall to tell me that he was often called upon as a Lactation consultant :th
I was too stunned to even say anything at the time.
He went on and on about how he did it too :sick

Anyways.....on to better subjects?

Truffles.

So far, cheese cake is winning.

Do I cook the cheese cake and then scoop balls and dip it?

Abi, you should look into the logistics of making truffles for sale.
For events/parties/weddings.
Perfect your art, and find out what you need to licensing and such.

My friend used to "cater" tea parties for wealthy ladies. Last time she did one she got $600 to do it. She simply used grocery store tea, made it in the kitchen by the pot, and made ahead a bunch of fancy dainty sandwiches (crust trimmed, etc) and pastries and yes, truffles. Each was labeled with calorie counts at some of the parties! On parchment cards with nice hand lettering. She probably spent a couple hours baking (fed herself and hubby on the leftovers, so it wasn't all time that she wouldn't have spent anyways) and a couple of hours in the kitchen and serving (they don't want you to speak, they like the idea of showing off a servant to their friends), and she made one hundred and fifty stinkin' bucks an hour.

She didn't start out making that much, she did the first one as a favor to a friend's sister, who was a caterer and didn't want the annoying little job. She kept getting called back and got a few referrals. She just kept raising her price until she wasn't annoyed by the snotty ladies anymore! They LOVED that she was so expensive!

She since got into an accident and is disabled and cannot do this work. She helps all her friends shop as she is an expert bargain hunter, knows fashion, and enjoys dressing people up. A sales clerk at a high end store approached her one day as she was helping a friend shop, and asked her if she wanted a consulting gig. She occasionally does a personal shopping consultant job for a wealthy lady when the seasons change and she is going on a cruise or something. She makes something like $200 per hour. Can you imagine?????

Before this, she and I cleaned housed together.....

You can do it, Abi. You just need to be ready when you are in the right place, at the right time.

Gosh. I can't imagine what a right time and place would look like, but if it comes, I'll have a net ready. And a tranq gun. *beams*

While more money would be nice, I'm in the black every month with a bit saved besides. So when I splurge myself "into the red" I'm dipping into savings and I've not dropped below 1300 in my account in over a year. With all my holiday shopping, I am at 1500 right now. That included a concert for 3 people, a sewing machine, a massage, dance classes, going out to eat twice....

And I have all of rent, right now, in my pocket ready to go get a money order.

So I can just quietly gather skills because I have the space and time and if something comes along, great!!

Rent is 341 this month with the colder weather of November (our utilities are included for the heat and it's one month behind)... so next month's will be low (Dec was warm), and then it'll be up for a few months til spring hits. And I'm trying to keep all the other costs low. I havent had to use the electric heater all December so that'll drop our electric bill a lot. I'm keeping food down as best I can (health comes before dance class LOL). But I think I can afford a class a week without too much issue!! Woot!

It's about twice the cost of belly dance :p But it's also individual instruction. And I wanna compete!!! :celebrate

Honestly, I could easily cater specialty foods. Low carb, low sugar, diabetic friendly, GF friendly... and that can get wonderful costly. *beams* The only reason I'm not advertising is I don't have a partner who drives. If I could go in with someone with a vehicle, I'd be set. I've actually considered going to Johnson&Wales or the art school and taking a culinary class just to find someone to do the driving hahahaha.

But I don't have enough spare cash to do it.

I have a very VERY severe fear of debt. This includes obligations, hence the "no presents" rule. So I won't take a loan to go to school.
