BBrooks - I, too, question the Asperger's diagnosis with as much as the BIL lies. My son will tell a lie, but has told on himself (not intentionally) usually within about 5 minutes - it's great!

Example - say he was told to pick up stuff off his bedroom floor. He comes back 5 minutes later "Okay, I'm done."
"So if I go look under your bed, you didn't shove it underneath"
"No, ma'am"
"Okay then, go make your bed, and I'll come check in a few minutes"
(couple more minutes, comes out to say that the bed is made)
"Okay, I'm done making the bed, but it took longer b/c I had to move the dirty clothes from underneath the edge"
:But I thought you'd already put those in the laundry since you said you didn't put anything under the bed?"
"Oh... well, NOW there really isn't anything under the bed"

Or he'll say he has no homework, but then mention later some something that's due the next day

Abi, I definitely second the cheesecake truffle idea!

I'm having too much fun on the fashion thread :D

That's how I lie too, Bethanial. And if I misspeak, unintentionally, I still lied. I don't have "social lies" "white lies" "errors" LOL. If you don't check your facts, you lied.

"I'm going to lie now" or "Bazinga" or "hahaha I just lied" is how a preface and/or end almsot every lie.

I used to ask my dad if I could lie so I wouldn't get in trouble. He tried to explain I was missing the point of the lie, but decided he liked my way better LOL!!! So instead we had long discussions about integrity. There's a reason we get along.

That darn fashion thread. Now I wanna sew!!!!!

Here is what I'll do... cut apart the skirt I don't like and piece it together for fixing :D I can wear it even with my growing all over the place!!!!

At home call center :)

I work for Cloud10corp. I take calls for internet support for Open Range. I don't hate it. I hated when I took calls for Comcast. But Open Range at least acts like they care about customers so it makes my job easier by a lot.

I made 16K and only 4 is my "taxable income" according to turbo tax's thing LOLOL.

I abhor the phone. I would rather do just about anything else.

But it's a job. It pays. I don't have to leave the house.

I'm hoping for a promotion to anything that isn't phones.

Happy New Year, Abi. It's a little early - only 7:41 here, but I'm getting off the computer in a bit and may not have another chance to tell you. Happy New Year to all Abi's other followers as well. I pray this coming year is better for everyone, especially those who have lost jobs or have had family troubles.
