Be careful with learning too much at one time Abi - you're brain might explode.
No, then the cooties will be released. ;)

Abi, I really do enjoy your posts and your view on things.

*waves to her guests!!* Hi Hen and KC and Dac!!!!

*sputters* But babies DO die. I was just SAYIN! She obviously didn't KNOW this and was going to be destroyed the first time she found it OUT! I was HALPING!

Also: Where's Auntie. Why isn't Auntie here being shocked and amazed after I spent all yesterday texting her about flirting questions?!?

Okay, so in dance we were doing swing with all the crazy turny-arm things where you make boxes and stuff and in and out of arms, right?

Hopefully you all know what I mean LOL.

I cannot do it with my eyes open! I get so confused. And by confused... I mean, I cannot tell whose arms are whose. And my dance teacher is Puerto Rican and I'm as white as can be, and I'm 6 inches taller in my heels. So there is no sense to my confusion. Plus I get dizzy trying to follow arms to their person and get a clue on what to do by my eyes.

I close my eyes, and I can do it almost flawlessly. Closer to flawless. Anyway, no confusion. Just my innate clumsiness. LOL.

Any ideas on that one??

Just autistic lack of body awareness.

If I were lying next to a person and my hand was on them, I would also get confused whose hand it is. I do that all the time.

In fact, lying with my arm on my own stomach, I get confused of whose hand it is, and then which of my hands it might be.

Someone explain??

maybe you just need more practice? Once it becomes more natural for you you'll be able to do it with your eyes open.

Maybe. I think it's the same thing that confuses me with all movement. But I'm sure practice will help. It's just so weird. Why can't I tell my arms from someone else's whose are a different shape size and color??

Then just pretend you are closing your eyes at that stage for dramatic impact. ;)

:p That is just the autism leaking out! ;)

I have trouble with body awareness myself ... I have no excuse either!
