That is one other thing I have learned from years of my work being people - each person is uniquely suited for their particular job calling.

We have a woman where I work that simply loves cleaning out some little kids green boogery nose! :sick She finds her fulfillment in it, I swear! She wipes their butts, cuts their fingernails, cleans their ears, brushes their teeth in addition to all of that nose wiping. God Bless her!

Me, on the other hand... if they bite, spit, kick, cuss, swing, scratch or scream ... they belong to me!

A dear friend of mine cares for children with extreme physical handicaps. She has the patience of Job and is so gentle.

My D1 lives to clean an abscess or help run a length of intestine. :sick

My hubby deals daily with executives. :tongue A job I would not wish on my worst enemy. More trouble than the worst spoiled child.

Bee used to work with Hospice and you want to as well.

It is amazing how each person is just who they need to be!

Yeh. I think it's really interesting the things people find fulfilling :D

I could never get into executive anything. Heh. Auties are lacking executive functions, anyway :p

But hospice, nutters kids, crazy old people, I'm so there!!!

I woke up to...

SNOW!

It was 71 yesterday >.>

It's done snowing now, but sheesh.

Abi - nice job on the passing the exams!

I've enjoyed reading the resume discussion, this is a hoot.

I did see a story about posting resume's in an online form (if you can attach a doc, great). The suggestion was to format your information in something simple like notepad and copy that text into the online form. The thought was that accented characters and bulleted text will sometimes turn into unprintable characters and make it look like you have typos in your data in the form.

But as a techie, you probably knew that already... :p

I do think you are much more reflective than many people however. You seem to take time to really think most things through from several angles before just jumping in. What is the word for that? Hmm.
Analytical.

So you think I might be autistic, huh? The state said I was too articulate to count. *scowls* Idiots. They also refused to give me resume help on account of not being mentally deficient enough.
Not that I am REALLY into "labeling people" ...

We have a little saying at work, "When you have seen one autism spectrum person - you have seen exactly ONE autism spectrum person."

Every person is a special unique snowflake! That is why life is so freakin' FUN! :weee
Abi's a snowflake! Better than being just a flake, right?

I would not have thought of that Jamie, thanks. I put her resume into a word document, perhaps she should fix that.

This is what I was trying to think of yesterday and couldn't. Abi has flair and panache!
