Lovin' The Homestead
Not sure of the accuracy of this video, but if this is seriously what Agenda 21 is aimed at, then I don't see how anyone could be for this:
Agenda 21 for Dummies

NOW THAT is what is needed on this board!!calendula said:Not sure of the accuracy of this video, but if this is seriously what Agenda 21 is aimed at, then I don't see how anyone could be for this:

This seems too silly to be realistic. I never saw the educational stuff they were talking about (math, social studies) in my daughter's public school curriculum. Also, some of this discusses Santa Cruz, CA, which is known for wacky extremism and is rarely taken seriously beyond (and often within) city limits. I'm not defending Agenda 21 or its implications (I know almost nothing about it), I'm just suggesting the video be viewed with some skepticism.calendula said:Not sure of the accuracy of this video, but if this is seriously what Agenda 21 is aimed at, then I don't see how anyone could be for this:

EVERYTHING should be viewed with skepticism. Everything. We had a saying while I was in VietNam - "never believe anything you hear and only believe half of what you see".Lady Henevere said:. . . I'm just suggesting the video be viewed with some skepticism.
Even when I was in college, a more globalized work-force was being touted. We were being taught that with advances in technology, it was inevitable that business would become globalized. This is so real that it's frightening! "Stealing a generation of children" will be accomplished by initiating the globalization topic into the curriculum in the first or second grade possibly. Think about it. Once these kids begin hearing about globalization year after year, they'll think it's the way to go. By the time they're out of high school, they'll almost be global citizens. It sounds far fetched, but get out there and read! That is the plan to accomplish the goals of Agenda 21.
