OK - so for people like me...how many cups or oz is that? :p
Silly goose. A gallon is 8 lbs, so a quart is 2 lbs. So 4 lbs is 2 qts, half a gallon, 64 oz, or 16 cups depending on which measurement you wanna use. :p Or you can say, it's too much to keep up with unless I really start making cheese or soap.
Heh....I graduated with a degree in accounting yet I can't do simple math anymore. And there's no way I can do conversions either....

But I guess I should've known that since when I order small quantities of oil for soap a gallon pail is just under 8lbs....and I know a gallon is 128 oz (or I looked it up once before :p)

Anyhoo ~ :woot

I guess that means Fudgie's giving me about 3 pounds of milk per day!

:hide I didn't even try to do the math either. I too have an accounting degree  I say that when my first child was born, my brain went with him.

Isn't that the truth Jav!

My husband often quizzes me and makes fun of the fact that he can do simple things like figure out the tip well before I can!

I usually pull out the cell phone which has the calculator icon right on the front for easy access! :D

Language Arts = NOT ME! I guess I'm more of a "matching nerd". Everything has to balance and make sense. If there's a gray area it's really hard for me to let it go...

But being a Gemini I guess I had it coming!

Yeah, well my husband is a math man - as in, he has 2 degrees in math and he reads math books for fun. Statistics is his specialty. I gave up trying to compute against him long, long ago :p

Me TOO! Symmetry is my favorite thing :p

Ummmmm......math books for FUN? Where's the "I'm a REAL NERD" smiley! :p

I did pretty well in statistics - my college prof wanted me to go into it and pushed me to publish some experiment or whatever that I did. I had NO INTEREST in that so I said 'Do what you want...'

He published it (with both our names as he helped me) and said it "did well" or whatever that meant.

Dunno anything 'bout that 'cept I turned into a farmer....

I came home to find Darla had lambed! I didn't expect her to lamb until May 5th or so. This is great news though!!!! This doesn't mean she lambed early, it means she was bred by my Romney ram lamb, not the neighbor's Border Leicester!!! I thought the ram lamb wasn't quite getting the job done, but he did!!! :weee

I'm so excited, because she not only had TWO EWE LAMBS, she had NATURAL COLORED EWE LAMBS!!! :weee

She had one nice big girl, and one teeny little thing. The small one doesn't want to stand up, so I tubed her. I'll check on her later tonight and hopefully she'll be perked up by then. It's pretty hot today (80*) so I'm hoping the heat just kinda zapped her.
