Is that the placenta hanging out of momma? If so, better not let OFG see it!

They're cute.

Well the little lamb is doing fine. :) I went out last night and she was walking around. I haltered Darla and tied her up so I could put the lamb on the teat. She wasn't very enthusiastic about it, but I did the same thing this morning and she went to town nursing. :love

Oh my! CUTIES!!! I love the darker wooled sheep. My Shetlands are the white/cream color. I do have a chocolate / cinnamon color one...but she never let the ram near her! Yup. those are some fine looking lambs ya got there!

Thanks everyone! :D

So today is chicken edumacation day here. I put an ad on CL last night for hatching eggs (of the chicken variety). I've had 2 women contact me saying they'd like to hatch some, but don't know the first thing about incubating eggs. I've been telling them about where to buy incubators, what to do, etc. One asked how to tell if the chickens that hatch will be egg laying chickens or not. :p

Here's my chance to help 2 people get bitten by the chicken bug! :clap

So I'm going home at 11 to take care of DSD who is sick. I feel like getting into trouble. What can I do? I want to bake, cook, plant seeds, play with lambs, go for a walk, knit, etc. So much to do and so little time to do it! :gig I know I need to get a batch of yogurt going.... And I have a hankering for donuts, but there's no way I'm going to make donuts. I made buttercream eggs this week and I'm trying to get in shape. Buttercream eggs and donuts will not get me in the shape I'd like.
