It's all in what matters to you. If you have the time and it won't cost you $9 in gas to get the 6 extra hens to sell to the other guy, do it.

If these pullets will increase your egg production I'd buy as many as you can.....stuff happens so you'll need some egg room (get it, egg room as in leg room! )

I'm surprised you understood any of that at all! I think maybe I'll just buy the 10 and keep them. If I can't sell enough eggs to pay for feed, I can always sell a couple. It probably won't be hard for me to market that many more eggs though. I currently sell about 12-15 dozen per month. These 10 new birds will likely double my production.

Well, I dunno about you but I'm actually really excited for it. A few of my friends had a hard time with turning 30, and I think alot of that was because their lives weren't "falling into place" as they would have liked. I think because I've got a house and family and am enjoying myself I'm OK with growing up!

On the other hand....ask little g what he thinks when I tell him I'm going to be 30 and he goes THAT'S OLD!
