I am a cloud person. LOVE clouds. I tend to just pull over on the side of the road and look at them. :p

Today has been all go all the time. In fact, today is still yesterday.

I got off work a little after 1 last night, came home, tended the animals, took the trash to the street, showered and to bed at 230. Couldn't sleep.... tossed, turned, got up and showered again, took meds... fell asleep at 420am and alarm went off at 450. I got the animals set for the day, went to my parents and left a note asking my dad to give the rabbits ice bottles throughout the day. At 6am my friend picked me up and we headed out for Tupelo, Ms - about 5 hours away - to pick up her new, very cute, very sweet, very large Great Dane puppy. I exercised great restraint and walked away without the huge, beautiful Harlequin female (really, I just didn't have a check or cash with me :) ). 5 hours back. I was and am so exhausted.
I picked a few tomatoes, need to feed everybody and finish my sandwich then I may have to call it a night.

and I may have to plan another trip to Tupelo!! :D

I slept very well last night!
Got up early and tended my animals, then met my friend at the vet (friends of mine) with their Dane pup. The vet was very proud of me for not getting one myself , but shifted when I told her it was only because I didn't have the cash on me :p :D
I picked some corn and a couple of tomatoes and decided I will probably turn the horses out in the garden this weekend. I can wrap the fence around the tomato patch and let them have the rest. Hopefully they will eat it down, I can till it and do some work on the soil before I go in for surgery - probably the 2nd week of August.

It is hot and humid - we have had some good rains though!

I think Rio is hinting that I need to fill his big stock tank with water

You have no idea :gig

So.... surely SOMEBODY here wants a nice mutt rooster??

Being a mutt doesn't mean you can't be fancy. He has barred rock stripes and even his little easter egger beard is striped! And get a look at those tail feathers!

I actually really like this guy... very pretty, flashy, and a nice roo so far

This one lucked out on the day my friend came and butchered 3 of his brothers (yes, there were 6 roos in an 11chick hatch). He has such a short flat tail that when he was younger I hoped he was a pullet.

This white / brown guy is Solo - the only hen-hatched chick that she really took care of. He is a dimwit.

My sweet Tuffy chick that I am afraid is an Emmett instead of a Kelly. He is still the cutest chick ever though - white and black with white feathered legs and a black beard that looks like a 5 o'clock shadow

and finally, big bald butt himself, the "sire" of this rooster crew - Big Poppy
