I'd like to add that I don't want my feet as calloused as barefoot running would build and require. Ewwww.
On the other hand, callous build up might give a person another inch in height.

I've always run barefoot. I was so damned smug when they reported it really is the best way. Several friends were rather annoyed at me over it lol.

I LOVE feeling smug!!! Sometimes they'll come out with studies (see the FDA thread about germs leading to immunity) for something I've been doing all along. It's all I can to do to keep from saying "Ahem. Yup. Been doing that all along. Yup. Remember how you used to laugh at me? Yup."
