I fast walk/jog for a mile or two and then I sprint full out until my heart murmur regurgitates (I love that technical term. I'd always called it hiccuping before) and I feel like puking or passing out. Then I fast walk another mile and do another sprint til the murmur gives out. Repeat until I better not run anymore and then I just walk. I tend to get a good five miles out of the deal. No idea how much of that is spent running :D
Gak! Would you please stop that?!?! I will have to try to run behind you, ready at any moment to begin CPR!!!

Abifae, where do you run? Streets, fields the track? Do you put anything on your feet, like those barefoot shoes?

Abifae, do you have a hole in your heart causing the murmer? My daughter was born with 2 different holes in her heart. One has been patched and the other one finally grew closed, sorta. Her heart chirps like a baby chick, it is very cool to hear it. (Not happy that she has a murmer etc. but I can't change it, so may as well enjoy the unique qualities of her heart.) Sometimes I tell a new doctor, sometimes I dont. :) The looks on their faces!

BBH--You just might be the most positive person I have ever met (online or otherwise)!

abifae--The barefoot whatchamacallits (not shoes, surely) are really fun looking and great conversation starters.

Thanks me&thegals. I try! I used to call her my jalopy, big and strong but falling apart....she was sick ALL the time and had been in and out of the hospital a gazillion times. Now that she is better (for the most part) I consider her my personal arch angel. :)
