Later, youngin.

BTW, the cool thing about the outlet is they'll sell experimental flavors at a discount. Last time, I got a huge bag of Jalepeno Kettle Chips for a few bucks. Too spicy for everyone in the house but ME :drool

No Buffs but not because we didnt run around 3 counties, saw an ad for them at Tractor Supply and he said LETS GO. So we called and called and called, then I got the adress we NEVER found them. Thats my 2nd attempt in 2 weeks Hopefully the old sayin' "third time a charm" will work in two weeks.

The egg farm was pitiful he had small houses, they dont free range. And his youngest flock has Coccidiosis. I told him he better get them birds some corid or their money down the drain. He said he'd get it in a few weeks and I thought well by then we wont need corid. I told him let them dang things free range and it'd be over. He cant cause of his dogs and I thought tie them flippin things up.......ANYWAY

Me and cous and his wife had a blast though!! He is so cool!!

Homestead Happenings for Today
**15 Eggs out of 16 Hens :ep OMG. MOST I HAVE EVER GOT.
**The chickens and ducks wore the run down pretty good for me today, SO I wont have much cleaning to do.
**The Rabbit still hasnt had any babies. But she has a place buroughed out in the back Ive never noticed. And her belly was pooching, I probably have 10 coming. BRING IT ON. Me and Cous are gonna eat em up!
**Went to TSC with Cous and I got some alfalfa blocks for the buns, oats and some more BOSS.

No kidding! If you wait a few weeks to medicate, then chances are you won;t have anything left TO medicate. :/ Was it a home/farm eggs or an actual sell to stores egg farm?

They wouldn't lay if they were turned out? Maybe he meant that. If the dogs are loose then maybe he meant he wouldn't have any to lay if he turned them out! Sorry, just pickin'. Did you learn to skin a rabbit? Did you ever palpate the momma rabbit?

Keep good records and very nicely through general conversation, make it known what good layers free rangers are.
Oh, and gift him with a few eggs this summer.
You know, when they are super deep orange!

Yes, we get eggs, but the trick is to have new layers at the beginning of winter, and for us, to give them light inthe coop all winter.
