Mine do too! Seriosly...growl...and give me the stink eye like nobody's business..all because I want their eggies. They don't peck though, which is good :) for them ;)

But the odd part is that they just started it no more than a week ago......

There are four down there right now! Im holding out. Thankfully its been my biggest hens................. :woot

And its the hens that made the first cut through the winter. The ones that are large, hardy, and great egglayers...so these will probably stay until they are 100 if they brood. Which I hope they do!

I have a standard light brahma that sat on 16 duck eggs for me last spring. She had one dud, 2 that were shrink wrapped and didn't make it but 13 that she raised until they were old enough to sell. I love that bird..... :D
