I wish our Sunday school would study Revelations but my church seems scared to teach it. Maybe it makes people uncomfortable or scared? Not me....I like knowing what is about to happen.

I will probably watch HP this week sometime....can't wait! How did they do with the graphics on the dragon?

There wasnt a dragon in part 1. The movie ended with Voldemort stealing the wand from Dumbledore's tomb. They hadnt broke into gringotts yet.
As for revelations we were pretty intense, the teacher brought a book about the one world government it was by Gary Kah. He is politician who had developed ties with the people who are trying to form this gov't. It had pictures of how the world was going to be divided. Plus categories of a world constitution. The first bill in this constituion is actually Nuclear Arms treaty which they are trying to get the UN to pass right now. Very good sunday school.

I'm anxious to hear about your rabbit babies.....I'm just getting started raising meat rabbits and need some advice sometimes from an old-timer like you at it. Seriously, how long have you been raising rabbits? In order to have rabbit for Christmas dinner, when should the buck and doe be put together?

Broodys are fun with their little chicks. I'll bet you'll have at least one in the spring.

When I had my chickens, I had a hen go broody in October I think. I let her set because had this bright idea that the chicks would be at point of lay in the Spring. I had a miserable time with that batch trying to keep everyone warm, healthy and fed. The chicks also grew out much more slowly than my spring batch. If you have a good set-up, it would be alright but with what I was working with, it was miserable.

Freezer fairy?
That's a new one!

I've had rabbits in the past that will create a nest, fur and all, and never been with a buck. Sometimes they just have a VERY strong maternal instinct. We had one, a nasty little bleepity bleep, really, who created a nest in her box (attached to the cage to get out of the weather) and she would 'collect' feed containers as her babies and keep them in her nest and cover them up, etc. She would get a whole slew of them and whenever we tried to get them out she would attack our hands, scratching and biting. She's in the freezer now.

Last year when I still had a couple that I wanted to breed I had one specifically who created a nest at the right time but never gave birth. Later when butchering her, it was obvious that she had never been pregnant because her reproductive organs were pretty scrambled.

Oh well. Time to try again I guess!
