Spring break has officially begun! :woot :woot

Tommorow, Im going to get fitted for my tux for the prom. :D :D Then headed to Winchester for an Orthodontist appointment.

Then Thursday rabbit hutch officially begins!! :woot :woot At a quarter after 8 in the morning, I will be traveling back to winchester with my building partner to purchase wood and tin. Then we will go to his house and precut it. Then trade some hens. Then assemble it at my homestead. Then friday finish it up. :woot

I need to upload pics tommorow. The meaties are 3 weeks today. The buffs are a month old today. 2 roos officially and 1 is pending. Just more fried chicken!! :D

I also have 9 duck eggs! :woot

The cage is 2/3 done. All things are put together in sections all thats left is putting it all in one. :woot

It only costed 170 exactly. All hardware, wood, and tin. :woot

We did some trading as well for our breeding projects. I will be making BO/RIRs and he will be making BO/DOMs.

Very cool Jamester. I have some Rhode Del's now :D They're BIG chicks too! Hybrid vigor ;)

Yes! I prefer RIR/ BO mixes. My RIR is half BO and he is awesome. HUGE and his sister layed like crazy but lacked size so by crossing buffs back to him it should increase the offspring size.

Yes! I prefer RIR/ BO mixes. My RIR is half BO and he is awesome. HUGE and his sister layed like crazy but lacked size so by crossing buffs back to him it should increase the offspring size.
I'm thinking of doing some more Del/Buffs too. Working on a good meaty hybrid for eggs and meat that grows a bit faster.

I used to turn my nose at hybrids but next year most of my doms will be replaced by either my mutts or his mutts. Im incubating a dozen buff/rir eggs. This may.

What do they look like?

I dunno yet. I have Del roo over RIR and Buff girls right now. May opt for the RIR roo over the girls later and see which matches up best.

One of them crosses (Del/RIR) makes a BSL if Im not mistaken.........
