Hello! Ive had a pretty busy day today. Done a lot of SS stuff. At school we had 23 chicks hatch and one died so we have 22 left. These will be raised here then later moved to there final home.

We had 6 Black Sex Links and 16 Buff Orpingtons. Thats 23/35 I think thats pretty good. I think Im gonna get a bator now! I like this. Hatch em when you want and much much cheaper!

Today we also thinned peaches..........they are hangin thick this year!

Today we planted 30 various pepper plants and 3 of which are rutger tomatoes for canning. Were gonna set the other 100 out tommorow.

We also planted 36 Cabbages and a dozen Broccoli plants.

Then put on a row cover so we wouldnt have to use a pesticide this year we are getting more organic each year and Im liking it!

Nice pics BB! Sheesh I completely forgot my bun had buns today!!! I think there is at least 5 maybe more, hard to tell just yet :D

matriarch of a poop supply herd :lol: It's GREAT for the garden soil!!! DH won't eat them :/

I see! Even better. Yeah I know there poop is awesome thats what with the cabbage and peppers. I put ashes, chicken poop, rabbit poop and rotted leaves and plowed it together for that soil. It should be good.

Today, the chickens feasted on the four broccoli plants I put out Saturday.

Hey Buff, I just wanted to say thank you for your attitude, work ethic, and everything else you share here. I just spent 3 hours helping set up for a high school choir concert tomorrow night. The choir was having a dress rehearsal, so the boosters were also feeding the lot, too. I worked my rear off.

The rudeness, lack of respect, and general "needs-a-trip-to-the-woodshed" behaviors had me really frustrated. My DD was in tears on the way home because of the crappy attitudes of her peers.

Thanks, James, for giving this old Tater hope that there are still good young people out there in the world!

There are still some good ones out there. They just don't get noticed as much as the others because they're in the minority.
