Glad to hear you are having fun!

And your garden sounds relatively good. I think most everyone's is struggling this year.

I wish I knew something else for potato bugs, since I already mentioned the ducklings have taken care of my bugs. Hopefully someone else will have an answer, since cayenne and dishsoap is about all I know too.

But glad you're having fun! :)
Thanks! The reason I didnt put the Ducklings in the potatoes is becauses they ate my chive to the ground :somad

Ah, sorry to hear that. I don't have chive. My ducklings are only a few weeks old ... I wonder if that matters? I have Muscovy ducklings a little older which may be teaching the others to eat bugs?

Mine just are so not interested in plants. Maybe a couple tiny nibbles. There are even a ton of millet sprouts growing in their pen and they don't touch them. I'm hoping to have a nice stand of millet when they are older and I can rotate them out and some incubated chicks in. I hope!

And I hope you find something to deal with the potato bugs!!!

So far today we have had fun! :D
How could you not!!!! :D We used to go to MB quite a bit when my BIL owned a condo in Horry County. So relaxing to sit out on the beach at night just listening to the surf. One October, we watched a pod of dolphins cruise up and down just off of the beach low tide area for like 20 minutes. So cool.

Remember the sunscreen and have fun!

Thanks Jamie! Yeah Im not sunburnt yet! I have been good about doing sun screen these couple of days. However today something stung or bit me in the ocean and my legs have itched for forever to the point that I got in the shower and just scrubbed it off who knows what happened. :hu

When I lived in California and regularly swam in the ocean, I found it always made me itch. It could just be the water.

I hope you are enjoying yourself!

Not to be nosy, but in what general area are you in? Our experience is that the water quality declines as you move north of Murrell's Inlet up the coast to NC.

We have usually stayed near the Apache Pier - MIL story, don't ask.

Told my wife where you were and she sighed with that wistful smile on her face....
