Just in from the Homestead!

We have a broody Buff who has apparently been setting for two days. And for an FFA project Im going to (attempt) to show chickens. So when I return. Im going to set down and talk it over with mom and try to order some show quality eggs. Any breed ideas or tips?

BB, the itching is the salt water. Your skin isn't used to it. When you get in and out of the water and the salt dries on your skin, it also dries out your skin, and the sun adds to the dryness. I get the same thing from the ocean. My skin burns and itches like crazy if I spend too much time in the surf :/

I have the same reaction. But it would happen to me and not everyone else, some people are more sensitive to it. I would always react that way and did not like to swim in the ocean very much because of it, especially to open my eyes underwater.

YW Jamester. A good aloe vera lotion will help immensely after you shower all that mess off good.

Glad to hear it's just the salt. I've never had that reaction. What has made me itch B4 in the ocean is jelly fish! :barnie

The last day at the beach is halfway over. I will be glad to return back to the homestead. Ive missed the critters and the family.

Considering my sis has ball camp Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday it will be me and the Gran for it. Im gonna tray and do a few NEW projects. Plus I need to do just all around work at the animal part. Then Im gardening some. I havent got to in FOREVER! But they say its coming along quite nicely :D :D :D :D

Definitely a mountain girl here too LOL. The ocean just seems so filthy to me.

I bet your critters are missing you too!!
