To all my southern friends, please be careful this week with the weather. I've been training my "new driver" in the family on the snowy, icy back roads, so I'm remembering how hard driving in the junk can be if you aren't used to it. Be Safe!

In the winter, you stock up on milkbreadeggs b/c you put the cold stuff (including the 1/2&1/2 for the coffee creamer ) in a cooler and set it out the back door

Sorry, everyone, bad news on the turnip kraut recipe. I cannot find in in any of the recipe boxes or in my canning list stuff. hmmmm

A "google" search did turn up a couple simple recipes, as well as a complicated recipe from a chef on the Food Network. Grapes? Add Grapes?

In looking at that recipe, I think caraway seeds is what grandma added.

But turnip and kraut is like chocolate and peanut butter...I gots ta have it!!! Now I gotta find a recipe somewhere else, because now I know that it exists I can't NOT try it!!!
