Making kraut is on my list for this summer/fall - my crocks just sit there as decorations by the fireplace... I really do have to find that turnip kraut recipe - it was excellent with a venison roast.Wannabefree said:Funny you should say that...I LOVe cold kraut from the jar!!! I could eat kraut cold from the jar. But, it's *always* better covering a nice pork roast, or kielbasi sandwich, or corned beef, .....
