Hey everyone, I have to scoot.

To all my southern friends, please be careful this week with the weather. I've been training my "new driver" in the family on the snowy, icy back roads, so I'm remembering how hard driving in the junk can be if you aren't used to it. Be Safe!

BB, have a good day off!

Have fun besides the orthodontist! Hoping for a snow day here on Wednesday. Today would have been one if it weren't Sunday.
Personally I love going to the orthondontist. But I have Invisalign not metal. DS will become an official patient soon. Not looking forward to that but he really needs to be. :/
Ugghhhh. You can borrow one of our snow days! We wont go all week, two systems moving in plus what we have right now.....and cold.
That's what we got Friday night, but it mostly missed us here in the eastern part of the state. Then whammo, last night we got a bit more than expected. Still got out to church etc. but it was a surprise. Haven't had a snow day yet and I'd love to have one in the middle of this week!
Despite you living much farther north than me, we get more snow days because of crappy side/gravel roads.

Yup. It seems weird. And to some extent you'd think we'd be so used to snow that we'd just deal with it, but we all go into panic-run to the store for milkbreadeggs-fill the tub with water to flush the toilet, etc-mode too!

I'm not so crazy about it when it's cold. In the summer it does make a nice break from all the technology, etc.
Here we've got both our eggs and milk and we're gluten free and don't worry about the bread! I've always got more than enough food on hand so I don't have to rush out to the store. We just make sure we don't let the animal foods run too low and we're all set.

I actually went to the store yesterday because I needed milk and bread. This was while it was snowing, and I was actually able to buy both! And, there was more in the store, as well as eggs.

I can remember stores running out of those things just before a big storm was expected. I think they do a better job these days then they did in the 60s and 70s.

Why would you get milk and eggs if the power went out? There would be no refridgeration on either of em........

Normally around here, you still see people stocking up when they even mention flurries! I'm wondering if it's because of all the snow that we got last year. This year is nothing compared to what it was like last year. It's much easier to handle a couple of inches as compared to a couple of feet!
