Baby bunnies sure are cute. Your Bonnie looks a lot a like our Hutch.
I've actually never seen baby bunnies. Didn't know that they came out with such small ears

Thanks for the pics!

I'm ready for spring, and so are my birds. The hens are giving me a dozen eggs a day without light supplementation--and the roosters are fighting. Found two of my young boys going at it yesterday in the snow. I really think the EE would have killed the PR roo. There was lots of blood on his comb. Now the little PR roo is living in a rabbit hutch until he heals. I've got to separate out my breeders and sell my extra roos ASAP. Some girls are even showing too much wear already.

Hey, Keljonma, Hannah laid an egg yesterday. I caught her on the nest. :D

Anyone know how to house train a 9 month old female pup? I'm tired of cleaning up messes every day. Even though I have two boy dogs that are housebroke, she just seems to think outside time is play time that ends with a treat when they come back in. Glad my carpet is old and stained anyway. :/
:clap YEA, Hannah!!! I think she lays a pretty egg; it was always kind of a creamy color. (Rachel's eggs have always been a mauve tint, and Sam was a white-egg breed.) Hannah was a pretty regular egg layer last year ....

Congratulations on the eggs in mid-winter!

Are you crate training your pup? We always had success housetraining with a crate.

We used an xpen in the house and then profuse praise for doing the deed "outside". Of course it helps when you have 3 people making sure the pup gets to go outside frequently!!!

Notice anything odd here?

Caught my cat reaching in. :ep Not good. The cage wire is too large on this cage to keep paws out. I'm going to have to rig up something to keep paws out since I don't have a better place to move the mommy and 6 babies.

I really haven't been in the mood for journaling of late. Not much that outstanding going on anyway.

Took a short trip to Virginia for my niece's wedding, and appreciated having QA and my neighbor care for my animals while I was gone. Nobody died. :D

Spring must be coming. We are finally having some days above freezing. I'm starting to see patches of grass appear through snow -- and mud. And my call ducks have started to lay.

I put one of QA's Sebby goose eggs in my incubator yesterday along with 5 call duck eggs. Can't wait to see if anything happens. My own Embden goose has been crouching by me the last couple days for back scratches. Still not positive if my Linus is a boy and if we'll get any fertile eggs. I'm not getting many regular duck eggs. I had been up to 4 a day. I think the girls started laying outside the shelter and that the goose may be eating them. I've found yellow yolk stains in the snow. :idunno

Yesterday I collected a record 25 chicken eggs -- exactly a dozen from each coop plus one from an isolation pen. :weee

Baby bunnies are growing like weeds and eating like teenagers. I hope to get them sold starting first week of next month.

I should use this weekend for a bit of cleaning. I also really need a plan for dividing out breeds so I can make some money from my birds. Then there are those extra roosters and drakes I should butcher. :/

Have a good weekend all! :frow
