Don't Quote Me
For 10 years we lived in our house with plain white walls or with wallpaper.
A couple of years ago, I got a bug in my bonnet and decided to paint the kitchen. It had green/white plaid wallpaper halfway up to a beautiful sunflower border. I left the paper (not in style anymore, but it's cheery to me) and painted the rest a beautiful, strong yellow called "Beach Umbrella" that matched the sunflowers.
That led to tearing down the paper that had been in my DS's room for about 5 years. I painted it a pretty, bold robin's egg blue. It has brown curtains and brown accents. Hip for an 18 year old.
That led to redoing my craft room which just had a paper border at the top. I painted it a mint green.
Then, that led to redoing my DS's bathroom. It had black and red pinstripe paper. I painted it "Wheat Grass" which looks just like it sounds it would. I kept the red and black accents.
That bug has officially left my bonnet for a while. I did all of that in 3 weeks.
