Oh, Farm, that is horrible! Even when I lived in town the light pollution wasn't bad in my yard, as I had the biggest trees in town. We used to have a fire every weekend and the local cops used to come over and sit by the fire with us!
We would have hay bales all around and comfy chairs, the kids would eventually go to bed and all the night owls would gravitate to our fire. Pretty soon we would realize it was 3 am and we had solved all the world's problems in one night!
I really can't imagine not being able to see the night sky but I guess all the folks in larger towns and big cities can't, can they? What a sad thing. And not being able to have a campfire is awful!
You need to move to my neck of the woods, Farm! I'll scrooch over and you can sit next to me by the fire!
