BEE!!! Don't you know that your sheepies have that patchy brown hair because they are wormy and you feed them rotting garbage from your garden waste???

Sorry Bee! Totally sidetracked - the girls look great! Don't ya just wanna bury your head on that soft wool all day?
BB, you can sidetrack on my porch anyday! I agree that the folks over there seem to have some hostility issues...maybe because they are used to BYC and the former attitude of when THAT forum was also a BYC?

I think the folks that gravitated to this forum were determined to maintain a civil-minded site and we've done remarkably well at kind of "weeding out" the folks who must fight, cannot let a day go by without a fight and thrive on fighting.

I like a good debate just like anyone else, but there is a fine line between debating an issue and puking one's feelings and opinions in a way that is calculated to make hackles rise. That is the one thing that will make me want to join the fray, when someone picks on someone or insults them out of the blue.

And, yes, BB, I really want to hug my fluffy-butted Bettys but we haven't gotten that far in the relationship, ya know? I do know their wool smells like horses instead of sheep. Like hay and barnyard freshness instead of the musky odor of lanolin. I like that! I have a real sensitive nose...much to my dismay! :p

:D

Free, my veggies aren't fermented and rotten yet but I'll look into it! Yep, all that dead wool must mean I'm doing something wrong here!

Justy, have you got the pics up on your journal yet? I would really like to start a thread where folks just post pics of their herds....just pics and pics of animals to browse through! Especially the goats, sheep, horses and cows....I really enjoy looking at the differences in the breeds.

Bee, if you make that thread on here, I'll definitely get some pictures of the goats to post for it!

Beautiful sheeple! I love the Got Any Food look, too cute!
I don't have a herd yet, but I could show off a picture of the future cow-lick. I'd love to see all of your herds :)

Awww . . . Bee, they're just beautiful. I'd like to have one of those laying on my floor just so I could rub my feet in the wool.

(Not as a rug, mind you. Just a nice, little, polite sheep laying in the floor.) :D

Bee the sheep are sooooooooooooooo cute. I really, really, want one. Of course this is just front porch talk. DH would have another heart attack if he heard me say this anywhere else but here. LOL

By the way - your front porch is one of the best places around. No problems here and such a soothing restful place.
