Glad to help! Any more DIY advice of that nature needs to be PMed from now on, though, so as not to offend the sensibilities of those less enlightened or practical about anatomy and physiology..... ;)

I was just trying to stick to the SS format.... :)

Gave my mother the same advice! :D Should have been there, girls....my big sis, mother and I in the truck, traveling to the beautiful farmer's market on a wonderfully beautiful day, giving our mother the 411 on being happy as a single person. It was so very funny and delightful to see my mother's face when she had her first real "girl" talk!

So.....what's next? :)
geez! I loved that thread! I saw nothing wrong with it....:(

You mean all us SS folks that raise, breed, slaughter and dress out everything from quail to cattle. Tan hides (even though we can't get some people to chew them properly), track down and kill and field dress wild game. Raise worms etc. Have sensibilites and are not enlightened about anatomy and physiology? Back to playing nice and sittin on Bees front porch. Never a dull moment here.

You can turn a baby around in a birthing mama sheep/goat/cow too.
I haven't but if it was ever needed- of course.

Rain? Lucky ducks. We are heading into record heat again. With Santa Anna winds. They are winds that come from the east over the desert and heat us up in a big way. Tomorrow Red Flag fire warnings go into effect. I guess I need to be ready to run!

Just got done with a very stressful and emotional day, folks. My batteries are just about dead on this one...... :th

The sad thing? My hospice baby passed away today. My heart is breaking for that young family in so many ways. I can't imagine how badly they must feel but I was witness to some of the most heartrending grief.....my soul hurts from it. :hit

The good thing? My hospice baby passed away today. No more pain or trouble breathing. She is no longer blind or deaf and she now can walk, talk, and play in a beautiful world where there is no pain or sorrow. No tubes in her nose, no medicines pushed into her stomach. Just good things forever more. :weee

She didn't suffer or linger, she had a quick and painless death....which is what I had prayed for just this morning. Please pray for this family. That they are comforted and their pain is soothed. :(

That's so funny that you should say that, Dragon! :th

After dealing with this death and being on the job for about 16 hours straight, driving over 200 miles, comforting the extremely distraught young parents, dealing with a rude and overbearing slumlord and his co-hort, the rude, obtuse, horrible funeral director......I looked at my co-worker and said, "I'm really gonna need some chocolate after this!"

She said, "Oh, no....something way stronger, my dear!" :p
