I made some liquid soap up by cubing up some of my lavender soap, and tonight I used it to clean the counters after cooking. It actually worked pretty darned well on the hamburger grease (85/15, eww, lol). So, I'm going to pick up the last of my soap from the parents' house tomorrow, along with my canner. I'm thinking about doing a monster rebatch of all of the soap I have over there that is in desperate need of a good rebatch, then turning some of it into more liquid soap for cleaning. It doesn't take much at all. I used about 3oz of soap for a ten oz container, and though it's watery and not quite like liquid soap, it still works very well for cleaning. It's alright for the hands, and is actually saving me some money, since I tend to use about the same amount of squirts for the thicker stuff. I'll definately be using lavender for the cleaning soap. I just adore the scent now (used to HATE it!) and I much prefer lavender over the citrusy crap we usually use, and DEFINATELY prefer it over that spray bleach crap George uses. That stuff suffocates the sin out of me!

Today is going to be a little rough. I've been plagued with all kinds of aches and pains this past week. From cramping belly aches, to ovary pain, joint pain, etc. Today, it's a wonderful mix of ovary pain and a belly ache. I know the belly ache is from, well, not eating. When I get into certain moods with the bipolar, I just can't seem to eat much. I can force myself to eat dinner, but even last night I couldn't even finish a burger. NOTHING looks appealing right now... Not even a bacon romaine salad! When I try to force myself to eat, I get sick, so it's only a few bites at dinner before I feel like I'm going to throw up. My ovary, well, I sometimes wish I could just go get that sucker cut out. They haven't found anything wrong with it, but that baby hurts when I ovulate. Anyways, I've got a LOT of work to do today. It's George's birthday, and I feel bad that I can't really do much for him. He's impossible to shop for, because if he ever needs anything, he just goes and buys it, not to mention that what little I have on hand won't go far. I've been battling with the assistance office to get my daycare back so that I can start working again. Trying to get anything done takes forever though! For today though, I really need to cook my laundry detergent so that I don't have to blend it before each use. I have to get the yard all nice and clean (kids have toys everywhere), wash all of the clothes from the past few days, plus the bedding and the throw blanket from the couch. I want to get more compost for the garden as well. Last night I planted some spinach and some more loose leaf lettuce blend, plus an entire row of watermelon. Maybe I'll get one plant to make it from an entire row, lol. After I get some more compost, I'm hoping to get some romaine planted as well. I know that I'm slow on the game, but I plan to eat it at a younger stage than usual, so I'm not too worried about it. I'm also thinking about bombarding the garden with beans, since I have the seeds, and plants are just too much for me to be able to afford right now. The other day, there was an ad for six free pot belly pigs. I was SOOO tempted to pick them up, but I just didn't have a way to haul them. If I could have hauled them, I'd have been ALL OVER THAT! I can still taste the bacon and sausage!

Sorry you have all that pain. Any chance it could be cysts? I get horrible pain at times, and that's all they could come up with. :hugs

Honestly, I have no idea. I never got it checked really. They took a look during my pregnancies, but other than that... There are just days that I seriously consider cutting them out myself.

sounds like cysts...and poly cystic ovarian syndrome and bipolar disorder are commonly linked (i have both)

might be worth getting checked pcos is nothign to be ignored and will agrivate the bipolar swings (you may find you tend to have a bipolar siwng at the same time as the ovarian pain...hormone spikes fom the cyst can influence and agrivate bipolar disrder...

i feel your pain...quite literally *hugs*

Is it possible to miss it with several ultrasounds? I've had issues since well before the kids came along. :/

I've done my bird budget on paper (err, well, on microsoft word) and I'm not doing too terribly. I thought it was probably pretty bad, but if you're not counting the incubator, I'm only $129.46 in the red. That's for two bags of bedding, 150lbs of feed, 40 cornish x, twelve poults (lost one though), the eight pekins, 14 ameraucanas and all of those button quail eggs. Of course, my costs will be increasing some more before any money has the potential to return. I estimate 100 or 200lbs of feed and another bag of bedding before those buttons are producing and bringing any money back in.

So, I was finally starting to get somewhere with saving money, and then feed prices went up ($49.50/200lbs) and the youngest hosed down the entire room, so I had to shovel all the shavings out and buy two new bags to put in there ($13). When you're as piss poor as I am right now, that really puts a dent into everything, especially since I just put $40 into my damn phone minutes. I REALLY need to do something to get the table fees for the shows so I can get some soap moving to new local customers. The one show that I was invited to isn't doing one this month, but is going to be sending me some info for the August show.

One really nice thing that I'm holding my breath for... I might be getting my stuff into a storefront in September!!! I'm trying to get my friend in as well, so I'm waiting for pics of her stuff so that I can get pics of everything sent in for approval. I REALLY hope that we can both get in, as we both really, really need this! It's a little local cafe with a shop attached. It's downtown, and she said her only rules are that they're homemade and that they're made in our county. So, I'm not sure what cover fees we have to pay or anything. I guess we'll see. I'll probably have to pick out the top five or so scents for her, because I'm guessing that space will be limited.
