How is she doing now? ANY better!? Poor thing...what a rough start. Praying she will get better, and stronger soon!

I am so busy taking care of 2 baby goats and chickens and ...and..
so I'll make it quick
Blossom is doing better, she drank 15 ounces of milk today and about 12 ounces of electrolite water.
We just brought Flower in the house, because now she is not right. We are working to figure out what to do for her. her temp is nearly 104.
Back to taking care of my goats.

Sounds like they are ingesting something toxic. Is there paint on the shelter, thats peeling? Comb thier pasture for toxic weeds. Has anyone sprayed any poisons...weed killers around there lately? I hope they are both up and jumping soon.

I'm listening to a Joan Baez program on the educational channel. I wanted to see it all week. It seems the goats like it. So I am getting a break sort of...
The goats are not crying. It is nice. I am exhausted and not looking forward to another sleep interupted night :/
But I'll do it, just so long both goats are fine tomorrow morning... :fl

Joan Baez? They have great taste Denise!

I'm so glad that Blossom is doing better.. but now Flower??? yikes!
Maybe giving Flower some electrolytes now wouldn't hurt either now. I bet they are both stressed from all that is going on.. poor babies!

On a side note, 101-103F is a normal temp for goats, so hopefully that can ease your mind about the temp.
