Is there an animal shelter around? She might not feel up to raising [another] youngun. An older adult dog thats already housetrained might go over better.

Our animal shelter is “no kill” so basically they just have a bunch of aggressive dogs no one has the heart to put down. It’s really horrible. Humane euthanasia for behavioral issues should be better accepted.

Now that I’m thinking about it I could just give her one of the Belgian Sheepdogs. Papa has too many dogs anyway. I think she would like Pebble. He’s a good boy.

They’ll help her apply for Medicaid if she qualifies. There’s a lot of aid for pregnant people, if she asks they’ll do what they can to help her.

I really don’t know if she can afford one. I set her up an appointment anyway. I’ll pay.

I would think that she could get medical assistance through the state or county--typically pregnant girls/women are definite approvals

Yes. He definitely makes more than 40,000 dollars a year. But I don’t think he’s willing to pay for an OB-GYN.

I will try to find someone for her case.

The only positive to her being a minor in this situation is that income might not matter

She should be able to get coverage. Her dad may have to sign her up but she shouldnt be denied

Do they not have a school counselor at your wife’s school? They should be referring her to places to help her.

I know this would be out of the counselor's scope at our schools. Unless it is a program supported by the district, such as our backpack program which sends food home on the weekend for needy families, they don't refer outside the district.
