That was all FREE?! :woot Looks good! I like the tile too, but couldn't have it here. Our house resettles every year or so and would crack every piece. Our neighbors had an entire kitchen floor crumble because of a short drought and hot summer :/

That is so very gorgeous though!

You two did a great job!!! It looks so nice!!! Now for the outside, huh?!
Snap, the outside is pretty much done, except for the roof on the addition. Those were before pics. The outside looks like this now:

We still have to put in a permanent kitchen counter and do all of the finishing work inside. The addition is not even insulated or drywalled yet. :/

How did you finish the outside of the house once all the shingles came down?

Thanks HQ! We used panel siding. I wanted to do stucco, but it just wasn't in the budget. The panel siding works great for now! Eventually, budget allowing, it will be stuccoed.

ETA: This is after the shingles came off and before the bedroom addition...

Such a cute house! I would go stucco too. I don't like dark exterior colors though :hu Either way, it's still a nice looking home :)

I agree. The color was a bad choice! (my choice :/ ) It does look better in person though. I think we are going to repaint it white w/ barn red trim. That dark green is really hot in the summer!
