It's good to be warm!!!!! Not much going on in my corner either!!!

Finally! The power is back on!! It went out at 1:30, about 15 minutes after I put a chicken in the oven and started a fresh pot of coffee. It has been one of the windiest days out here in years. We have had sustained winds of 40 - 50 mph with gusts up to 65 or so since sunrise. We knew we were in for some wind, but we didn't expect this! Thankfully, we got everything tied down and/or stashed securely yesterday. We'll still have to replace some of the tar paper on the roof of the addition as it has been fairly well shredded on the west-facing side of the house. The worst part is all of the blowing sand and dust. It gets everywhere!! I sure hope it follows the forecast and dies down at sunset.

I just visualized a bunch of cheerios blowing in the wind I may be a bit silly
