OFG, that is why we got a second fridge off of CL for $100, only three years old, used in a flower shop, and it has no freezer so it is all fridge! I do have plans for a root cellar, but the fridge keeps mice out, too. And holds all my many jars of fermented stuff.

so what temp do you hold it at?? how do you keep the humidity up..or you just arent that particular????

i'd also love to have a place to hang smoked meats and .....prosciutto..
