I asked DH last night about putting a small washing machine in our bathroom for small loads of our laundry and for the baby's cloth diapers. Then put up a rod to hang the diapers and clothes on. We already have a heated towel rack that we could hang the towels on to dry overnight. DH says it can be done and there is enough room in our bathroom for it.
sun and WARM here also today. going to hang out laundry.
boxing soap orders to take to post office in a bit.
I have the heavy comforter hung out over the porch, pillows out on the patio furniture airing out...all stripped down and getting clean since I can hang big stuff out today....that rainy 2 days ticked me off..HA HA
A washing machine in the bathroom?
Why?
just for convenience?
I sure don't want a washer in my bathroom......I can't stand having my washer in the laundry room, I know I don;'t want 2...HA HA HA HA
Glad to hear you all got some sleep. I don't know how you do it. I went to bed last night at 8pm and got up at 6. If I don't sleep I can not function. I think the last week of crazy holiday stuff just wore me out.
Hey Pam sorry I missed that sf cheesecake, sounded kinda tasty.
Any news on 2dreams new grand baby?
I don't think I will be on line much today. I need to run a couple errands and I want to get the kids out of the house. Maybe the park or something.
FC, you have to remember there is going to be 8 people in my house in a few weeks. Our one washer and dryer run nearly ALL the time!! We do not have a basement or a separate laundry room so our washer and dryer are in the boys' bathroom.
If we every build a house I WILL have a separate laundry room on each floor!!
that is so true, I keep forgetting there are SO MANY pairs of socks and underwear to wash..HA HA HA....and tackle cloth diapers?????
more power to you!
yea you need more than one.....then don't be getting one too small then either. Get a decent size while you can!
I just checked out Homedepot.com and a small top loader is around $350 and a front loader is about $700 and up.
Getting a new wash machine is going to be the case where I would have to stop into Homedepot or Lowe's regularly and see if they have one on clearance.
Gray and cooler here, about 45 degrees. We had been at about 60 degrees which melted most of our snow. We're cleaning and organizing. I'm on a quick lunch break from it. My son is still in his pjs. He's playing school. Recess specifically. He's walking around in his pjs singing to himself, "indoor recess" over and over.
My kidos were outside for a little bit and now they are coming in because they said the wind is so chilly. 6 yo brought a big chuck on ice in with him that he is breaking all apart now!
