I finally broke down and got muck boots this year- the cheapest ones I could find. Before that, I used to get my pants soaked and end up changing a lot. So, they are a welcome luxury for sure.

Cable TV and the DVR. I love that DVR. Oh, and the internet can't go without SS, BYC and Craigslist. I'd gladly do away with the land line phone and cell phone if it wasn't necessary for work. Yes the bill for these is ridiculous, I have it set up for e-bill and autopayment from checking, This way I don't have to look at the bill, Honestly seeing the bill shames me a bit.

Cell phone - my hubby got me a phone and put me on his plan while we were still a long distance romance. :love He doesn't have $ and is a penny pincher so that showed me how serious he really was.
Internet - I love it and he considers it a necessity.

Taco Bell - 7 Layer Burritos, and everything bagels. :drool
Good chocolate - The stuff I get is expensive but with nut allergy I have to be picky. With 70% cocoa, just 1 or 2 squares does the job.

I got rid of the land line phone and now just use a cell. It's more versatile. But you have to keep the stuff you need for work.

Satellite TV (we live too far in the boonies for cable), internet (even though it's just a dial-up connection I can't live without it)

My number one luxury is boarding my horse... I board her at a barn where I have a dressage and a natural horsemanship coach, and an indoor arena to ride in all winter. Paying to board her is by far my biggest luxury, I do clean stalls at the barn though to save some money on board.

My dogs and my cat, they are also luxuries... we are rigging up a dog treadmill though and will put them to work, maybe a dog powered generator?, once we get that working.... and get them trained to run on it. I saw one at an agricultural museum fun day that churned butter when the dog ran on the mill :) I couldn't get my dogs anywhere near the thing... lol

I bought a huge chair with an ottoman. It is a chair and a half, upholstered tapestry, and way too big for me. I sink into it, can sleep in it, feel luxurious in it, pampered. Ahhhh. :love

One day I caught the cat beginning to sharpen her claws on the back, or should I say, shred it. She went back outside. It had been a trial to see if it would work out having her inside and she failed on her first day. :ep
DH can't be around litter boxes, so it was for the best. I built her a 3 story cat box complete with heating pad and sunny lounging porch, so we're all good.
