No, don't feel guilty, lol! Just next time you get all comfy in it on a cold night just say"this one is for you, Delia"....sylvie said:OK, that's funny!delia_peterson said:Sylvie, I have chair envy....

Do you like xplornet? I looked at getting it, but the speeds still seemed slow for what you're paying, I was worried it wouldn't be fast enough so I'm still chugging along on dial-up...River Runner said:For us it is our satlite internet, have xplornet and love it, and I have to have my satlite tv....no cable out here....lol.
I used to have a wonderful chair like that but couldn't take it with me when I moved.....we were just talking about it yesterday! I would love to find another, as this was my very favorite piece of furniture ever. I used to read to my kids in that chair, the kids would curl down and do homework in that chair, it was just so dreamy to sink down into it and disappear for a Sunday afternoon!sylvie said:I bought a huge chair with an ottoman. It is a chair and a half, upholstered tapestry, and way too big for me. I sink into it, can sleep in it, feel luxurious in it, pampered. Ahhhh.
One day I caught the cat beginning to sharpen her claws on the back, or should I say, shred it. She went back outside. It had been a trial to see if it would work out having her inside and she failed on her first day.
DH can't be around litter boxes, so it was for the best. I built her a 3 story cat box complete with heating pad and sunny lounging porch, so we're all good.
Bee, I bought it at a local small family owned furniture store called Griffith's in Geneva, Ohio.Beekissed said:I would love to find another, as this was my very favorite piece of furniture ever. Sylvie, where did you buy your chair? I've been looking for one like mine but thought they quit making them.....
