I wish I had desire, patience and time to raise chicks or ducklings. Last year I had a FFA student raise them until they were 14 weeks and paid her. I have room for 7 in the new coop and wanting to have one of my Brahmas hatch 5 eggs in the 2nd coop

The girls sure have livened the pasture up. They got the boys up and running and I heard the first steer moos 😂

See guys, it's not a pasture ornament, it's to eat.

Oreo is kind of cute with her wooly red colored ears. she's also a big grazer, which is good. The pasture needs it.

I bought them a bag of Livestock Commodity Mix 15%. I put 1/2 a coffee can full in each of the two gate hanger tubs. Then I rang the bell, hopefully they will figure out, bell = treat sooner rather than later.

I'll believe along with you. Next summer you guys will get a dairy cow. 👍

They are a hoot... almost as comical as my wife's mud puddle makers. They found the gate hanger tubs. Knocked them off of the gate and eating the feed off the ground. The girls grew up with dogs. I took my wife's rottweiler out to see them. He inched twords the gate wagging his nub and when he got there he stuck his nose inside the gate and oreo gave him a big ole cow kiss - yuck 🤣

Jesus is Lord and Christ 🙏❤️🇺🇸
