Wait for the end of the message, there's a prompt to get off the call list.

I went through years of this, thanks to who ever had my phone number before me. So much spam texts and calls. And their collections! I finally threatened legal action for harassment and the calls stopped. :hu

Mom tries to convince them to send her free stuff. They hang up on her

not many calls the past month. we do not answer many calls from numbers we don't know. also i do not ever talk to them or engage in talk. i answer and if it isn't anyone i know then i hang up. i don't say a thing other than hello. sometimes i don't even say anything and wait to see if it beeps and then gets transferred to someone else. at that point i know it is telemarketer, or if i hear a room full of people talking then i know it's telemarketer and hang up.

i don't reply to e-mails from unsolicited people either. same reason. don't let them know they've got a working e-mail address. it goes up and down depending upon the people who hunt and fix open mail machines or those who go after the e-mail spammers/scammers. some days i don't get any at all.

unsubscribe or do not call me contact numbers are just verifying they got a live one, so i don't give them that information either.

We said goodbye to a big part of our family yesterday. It was a difficult experience at the vet, she got super disoriented and scared when they gave her the pre-sedative so it wasn' an easy let-go. Sleep was non-existent last night and I am already over today. But she is no longer in pain, the only good thing.

@Trying2keepitReal i am so sorry. We get a lot of family history wrapped around our animals. Our pets become family members and it is heart twisting to let them go. The joy they give us is immeasurable, they love with no limits. Doing the right thing often seems to be the hardest thing to do. Big hugs.

It is tough and heart breaking. Prayers for you all

Ya, what a week and boy it seemed to go fast. Iam going to be :caf off line for a while, not long. I have a bunch of inside work I want to get focused on that we have put off until we got the outside stuff done. Ya know, things like recalking, patching a place on the ceiling no one ever took the time to fix, some weather proofing etc. ........... getting rooms ready for all my children and grandchildren to visit. AND then there is some holiday baking to do. 🍁🍁🍁
Chatt with ya later , :hugs
