Congrats @Grandmas Porch on the first egg! That is so exciting and in the winter!! wow

cold here today 3F but we are headed to the mid 30s this weekend. It was 61 in the house when DH woke up this morning for work, brrr. I am tired of the holidays already, haha. So many people asking what we are doing, and when I say we are just spending the time at home as a family, drive to see Christmas lights with a pizza and chocolate and then sledding, they look at me all crazy because I don't mention any extra family. Not everyone has a happy extended family people! It is better to not engage with those that judge, make rude comments, or don't even care to really be there but feel obligated! (ok rant over)

19 week old chicks starting to investigate nesting boxes during the day, while kicking out all the straw, lol and 7 week olds are checking out the roosting bars during the day so everyone is growing up! lol

I woke up at midnight and didn’t go back to sleep until after 3. Alarm at 5, on second cup of coffee. I’ll be outside at daylight, feed, water and hay. Got a doctor appointment in Tyler, checkup on my knee.

I’m going to ask for him to approve 6 more weeks of therapy. I’m doing good, but for my level of activity, I think I could benefit from more therapy.

extra therapy can't hurt for sure, good for you to notice and know when to ask as well!
