Coffee's Ready, Come and Sit on the Porch

Around here it can often be heater in the morning and AC in the afternoon.

I made. my self a hamburger for lunch. Finished lunch and said I'm just gonna sit down in this lawn chair real quick.

Jack (kitty cat) I'm just gonna come lay in your lap real quick.

2 hours later

I wake up from accidental nap.

Please tell me, It's still 2023?

I take lots of those accidental naps, usually in my recliner.

Coffee is ready! I slept until the alarm went off at 6:00. I’ll do morning chores, then church and probably have a lazy afternoon.

My accidental naps are often a prelude to bedtime when I should have gone there and didn't, couch bound. Those can be annoying and disruptive for a full night's sleep.

Coffee, then decide......want to accomplish "something".

Got to check electric fence and put in a couple posts where it has too long a stretch and is sagging a little. Need to take the tester as there was a cow across it yesterday.... Supposed to be rain this afternoon so need to get it done this morning...

When the air turns green and you hear almost constant thunder of to the west. It's time to stop what you are doing and head for the basement. I just finished hitching up the auger to the tractor. Moved tractor under cover and headed inside to the basement. We could use the rain, it's looking like we will be getting some.
