It’s hot and dry here too. Anatolians have dug craters under a big shady oak out in the field. Dust is deep.

I don’t need rain right now on my roof. I really need to get it finished and dried in, but the flip side of no rain is more heat. Can’t win. Got 3 sheets of OSB pulled off yesterday, repairs made and 3 sheets of plywood put back on. Progress. Going to pull and replace 2 more on the front side of the house this morning. Put on drip edge and will be ready for underlayment, but it will be too hot by then. Cover with tarp and quit for day. Neighbor is going to help.

i hear raindrops and that is good as perhaps it will clear up some of the smoke from the air.

yesterday started off a bit thicker and icky but it cleared up through the day and i could get outside ok. today may be a different story. it's ok, i still need to clean more of my room...

Weather good here. Sunshine & blue skies. Decent mid 80s for high today -- it IS summer, so that's hot but not excessive.👍 Warming more next month, 2 days away

Hey -- got tank of gas in car at $2.88 gal yesterday. Wish less but, better than it has been. Truck still in sick bay but, more parts arrive Sat....hope it's THE fix!! Oh, it runs but huge noise that can't be good. So rebuild, piece by piece 🤷 hoping these tensioners are it.

Lite breakfast, getting 2nd cuppa...then chores 😊. And several more days home for farm work. Feeling almost retired with only one or two days a week for jobs. Kinda nice 👍😍

Official heat advisory, #2 so far this year. Yes it's hot and yes it's humid and yes it came from Texas 😂

Our regular 87 octane is running 3.17, and saw diesel for 3.29 the other day... Real Cheap compared to many other places. It is about an hour north of here... ours local ON Road diesel is 3.85, don't know what off road is running, but seems I heard DS say something about 3.69...
