I slept through alarm for an hour. Must be tired. Nah, new alarm is too quiet! LOL I’ll be out by 7:00 instead of 6:30.
Replaced 5 sheets of OSB with 1/2” plywood on front edge of roof Wednesday and Thursday. Had help. Got one strip of underlayment on, going up on the roof to roll out underlayment, going to try and get front half of roof covered, then secure tarps better. Chance of rain all week.

It figures, wash your car=rain

Broody#2 has 3 eggs of 4 peeping
Sons goats are tired of Timothy grass- oh to bad, it’s free eat it!
Dogs only ate once bk yesterday????
Not normal, but they did eat their BK today I think they were just to hot. Rotts don’t like anything above 70.
DH is up and dressed, 6:30 he never gets up before 8,, I guess I better drink up my coffee and get my wranglers on, he is on a mission
Overcast and 55 out, and 70 by noon

Oh, took shingles back yesterday for a refund. I ordered metal from a place, side trim, ridge cap and screws, only $300 more than shingles. I NEVER want to roof this Doublewide again!

Yes good , it is brutal work and get it forever done, no one likes having to do it twice. Sheet metal is easier to handle and lasts forever, well worth the extra 300

The sky got dark, got an emergency alert about a severe thunderstorm, 60 mph winds, hail, etc... I heard thunder. Told farmbabe I'm taking a nap. Woke up, looked outside, asked farmbabe if we get any rain? She said Nope, all that thunder was just a tease. Again rain to the north, but for us... No sky water again.

Goats do eat grass BUT they prefer to browse, weeds, vines, trees, etc. And, Timothy or Bermuda is least fav, preferring orchard and alfalfa's, clover, etc. So DS needs to be fencing the woods!

Holiday???it’s a holiday??

yes, we have some people coming over so i've been cleaning/dusting/chasing spiders. nothing serious but it sure makes my nose run from the dust. i needed to clean up as this is "after planting" anyways and when i normally try to get some things reorganized if i can get any indoors time at all.

The previous owner planted/ seeded all the Timothy, he had sheep, the goats eat the brush/forest at DS,s house, so, little buck has been informing me he would like something off the menu

Yep and they got an inch of rain 10 miles north of us. But us? No sky water.

I really don't know how you all in Texas deal with this heat, it's H O T. I think I would be inventing some kind of clothing with tiny tubes of coolant inside the fabric or something, so I could stay cool.l while outside.
