Yep and they got an inch of rain 10 miles north of us. But us? No sky water.

I really don't know how you all in Texas deal with this heat, it's H O T. 🥵 I think I would be inventing some kind of clothing with tiny tubes of coolant inside the fabric or something, so I could stay cool.l while outside.

That is all for now, I hope you enjoy your day. I'm off to town, thankful farm truck rocks the air conditioning.

My Mississippi bride loves Ohio because we usually only have at most a week of scorching weather. She doesn't miss the heat and tornadoes

They do make hats and neck covers with coolant...just for outsiders to help with heat. Go to Lowe's in the lumber, tool section.

My PSA for today 🤣
Do they make whole body suits of that stuff? Even underwear for S A? Just got out of farm truck it's outdoor thermometer said 102 🥵

I checked on everyone I know. Everyone is OK 👍 busted windshields and dented vehicles but glad everyone is OK.

I opened up the finishing yard, if cattle want to get in the corral they can. Radar is showing more storms, maybe we will get some 🌧️

but one thing too many people do is to water frequently... WRONG.... soak them to the point of making the ground soft squishy... to get the water to go deep and loosen your hardpan... and not enough nutrients ... like you said their roots need to go down to get more nutrients...

plant Daikon long root radishes. Plant the whole garden in them, let them grow to maturity, flower, set seed and die back. Do not cut or trim the tops. Let them die all the way and fall over. Let the radishes rot in the ground. The radishes will bust up the hard pan and add humus to the soil.
I meant to agree and talk about those 👍 👆👆👍 the other day and never finished catching up on the thread.

Was thinking today after sitting with the windows up and it working it's way to 100 that maybe I should've fully fixed the ac in the rig truck. It works. I never could get the one flange to twist that lil bit to hook the line back up, so no Freon. Which is OMG expensive.
It split and went right around us to the north and south
That's been here for over a year. We got .3 the other day. 1/4" rain just evaporates before it can do any good. I don't remember when we got 2"+ or more than one 1" rain in a month.
