We did the same thing on Tuesday. Took 1 lb ground beef, to neighbor's, she did mushrooms and onions, swiss cheese, cooked on the grill.... lettuce and tomato, ketchup... pot salad, deviled eggs from my chickens' eggs...
M...MM... GOOD.... Home grown is it......

we made burgers yesterday, not homemade beef or mushrooms and the beef had little fat it in so it wasn't as nice as some ground chuck is but still edible. :)

Neighbor Chase came over this morning and helped me. I’ll finish up this side in the morning and have it ready to go for Saturday. Picking up metal tomorrow afternoon!

Good Morning all! There's a 1/2 pot of hot and ready coffee for y'all to share.
@baymule your new roof is coming together very nice can't wait to see the metal on it!!!!
As soon as I finish my 2nd cup of "GOOD MORNING HUG in a MUG!" I'm going to be getting started on housework and a little bit of outside work.
On June 26, I had to go see my PCP (NO, nothing is seriously wrong) for my yearly check up and she is sending me to an allergist seeing how she thinks I am allergic to grass but I was also going to ask her to send me to one seeing how I want to find out if I am really allergic to strawberries. I had hives on my feet because just a few days before that I had mowed our front yard. Now with the possibility of me being allergic to grass FH is having one of his co-workers mow our yard (front and back).

This appears to be an Assassin bug there are like 700 different kinds. It's a friend to fruit trees, not friendly at all to other bugs. Just leave it be and don’t touch, they can pack quite a punch! Most definitely this Assassin bug is cleaning up what ever bug(s) was eating the leafs.

@CrealCritter i had black and orange assassin bugs in my garden in Livingston and in Lindale. They ate the aphids. I loved to see them show up!
I have a bunch of those in the east pasture, next to the chicken coop of all places. I need to catch some and put in the east pasture where the squash bugs are killing my pumpkin plants. I usually leave them alone but I will move walking sticks and praying mantis into the garden.

Good Morning :caf and I thank the Lord for aspercream,
I got started in on the herbs at 11 and sat working through it all until 6pm, It was hot out, I tended to the flock as needed and dogs but I grounded myself to the porch until the task was done-all of the paper bags have herbs in them- --
