@baymule your tater feeder is in better shape than mine. I suspect it may have something to do with the size of the critter being fed out of it. Notice chains, I had to chain it down to the t-posts because they would move it out to the pasture the far end is bent pretty good, that's romeo's end.

Well it's looking like the new tabby tom kitties names are noodle and doodle. As you may have already guessed... I don't get to name animals around here. Frambabe and granddaughters out number me 3 to 1.

Need a little frame straightening also. Probably best to just get a new better one, when they tear up the plastic liner

Farmbabe had her first homemade bottled kombucha.

She said my kombucha was good but had a baby SCOBY in it.

I said oh really and did you eat it?

She said no I'm not eating that slimy thing, that's gross.

I said from what I read it's packed full of B12 and probiotics, yeast and other good for you stuff. You can eat it or throw it away or give it to the chickens or start your own new batch of kombucha. It's really up to you.

She said really, well I threw it away.

I said if you want, I can kill it off when we bottle. I have potassium sorbate and I can carbonate the bottles, I also have CO2. So it'll be just like store bought.

She said why would you say such a thing?

I said because you said it's gross.

She said well I may have to ease into this SCOBY stuff. How about refrigeration?

I said that'll just slow Mrs. SCOBY down, but won't stop her. Which means more time to naturally carbonate the bottles and you still might get a baby SCOBY in the bottles.

She gazed off and didn't reply.

I walked away scratching my head.
