Idalia rains began late afternoon, stayed all night! It's wet -- I'm going to shower, dress & go to work. Sure too wet for outside. Slept poorly, rains loud. FL, GA, SC got slammed, now NC.

Coffee is a MUST today.

All you need is right there by the coffee pot and set for you to brew a cup or two just remember if you use the last of the water in the reservoir refill it so it's ready for the next person.
FH niece lives in NC, I just asked her how bad the storm affected her and all she got was rain. My Uncle who drives a BIG RIG was stopped in SC and right near where they was being slammed by the storm.

Coffee is ready, still on my first cup. I slept until 7:00 this morning. I’ve been outside to let the dogs out on the field. I’m sore all over from the work I’ve been doing outside the past 3 days. It’s been wonderful to be able to get some things done without the killer heat. I’ll do chores this morning, then I got to go to the auto parts place and get a fuse for the truck, fill it up, and be ready to haul 6 ram lambs to auction on Saturday. That will be fun, BJ and I always enjoyed the auctions. Not as much fun without him, but I’ll still have a good time.

Whatever you need for a Cup of Joe is right there next to the wonderful machine that produces the magic potion that wakes the senses. Right now it's a brisk 56 out there but it feels so much better than 72 and humid like it has been.
First day of September and getting closer to the first day of Autumn (22 days away!!!).

My 2nd cup of coffee is all gone. Thinking about laying down for a few but there's so much to do that I'm undecided at this moment.
