For vegans and people that can't have dairy, knock yourself out.

I will not use this. I can't see how this is more environmentally friendly to produce, but to each their own

@FarmerJamie

You gonna get some peach trees? Hard for me to grow here organicly, big learning curve, but I'm learning... Totally worth it though. Especially when I crack open a jar of home canned peach halves and place them over cottage cheese and pour some of the canned syrup over top 😋

There are literally hundreds of different varieties of peaches and new ones coming out all the time. These are late season o'henry peaches on lovell rootstock. O'henry Is a freestone uniquely flavourful delicious peach.

More info on o'henry peach

If you get a early, mid and late season varieties you'll be in peaches for a big part of the growing season.

We aren't big peach eaters. I love them, but can only eat them sparingly. Local orchards seem to get buds frozen out every year or so. My favorite are white havens (my paternal grandfather taught me well). I will make the wife some peach cobbler once or twice each summer
I browsed the link you posted. Very cool varieties

Thank you @frustratedearthmother
Checked on the delivery of mine and FH Save the Date cards, they were delivered to a post office that's only a few miles (35 I think) this morning at 3:56 so hopefully they get here today or Friday!!!

I will not use this. I can't see how this is more environmentally friendly to produce, but to each their own

the tropical forest destruction to grow palm oil or palm kernel oil are rather horrible and i won't buy stuff that has those oils in it. chocolate and coffee at least can be grown in ways which include diversity but i'm not sure the mass producers of any of these mostly focus on that, but i'd welcome any steps people make to restore diversity.
