Caught a short break in rain coming down -- knew there'd be more BUT -- out the door and put out hay! Puddles everywhere...sloshy wet ground. Over 2" so far and, of course, heavy sprinkles before done! They're eating, even in the light rain. Get full before you run to the barns, cause it's gonna come hard again. 😳

We aren't big peach eaters. I love them, but can only eat them sparingly. Local orchards seem to get buds frozen out every year or so. My favorite are white havens (my paternal grandfather taught me well). I will make the wife some peach cobbler once or twice each summer
I browsed the link you posted. Very cool varieties

I asked myself - If orchards local to me can grow peaches, why can't I grow them? Two variables... variety and the orchard-ist "me" :D
