Sure hope everything turns out ok!Just took the Russian Blue into the vet this a.m. I suspect kidney disease so the $230 lab work up will tell me and then we'll go from there.

That is a lamb at the topNeighbor and I went cruising the neighborhood for saw and firewood logs. I spotted an old grave site out in the open. My neighbor didn't know it was there, and he was born right here.
Grave stones pictured below say Elms died 1876 and 1874, we think by the barely legible markings that these two guys were twins, it looks like a carving of a head of cattle near the top of one of the grave atones. There were 3 more tall and narrow stones but no way to read them, they were too weathered.
see if you can make out what was carved into the stones.

In Texas it is illegal to give rabies shots. Those must be done at the vet.
That's the thing they don't take care of their animals. They have a dog that SHOULD HAVE been to a vet a long time ago. She has something going on with her ear, it drains and stinks all the time!!!! All they do is treat her with ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) but it doesn't help.many ways to contribute to the care of our animals.
Usually the limiting factor in owner animal care is handling. Knowing to give your dog 1T peroxide every 5 minutes (to induce vomiting) is a lot different than actually getting peroxide down a dog's throat! So teaching dogs to tolerate body handling is a great start. You can do it all home!I would love to be able to do more basic care with my dogs
